PHALAROPE AT FAIRHAVEN.

The last 3 days has seen a Grey Phalarope at Fairhaven Lake having been blown in by the gales. I am going to do 3 posts on this enchanting little bird showing the different conditions at Fairhaven. Tuesday the gale was still raging as this little bird was sighted at the east end of the lake.I have posted a few images from Tuesday showing the terrible conditions for photography. The little bird didn't seem to mind a bit feeding happily on the waves.

The first day was fun with that wind and those waves! How you managed to obtain this fab shots is a credit to your efforts. Super collection and the 'flight' ones are special. Well done and look forward to seeing the rest.
